It was this obscure underground artist who seemed to appear out of nowhere, dropping tracks that blended the best of industrial and new age sounds. When I listened to Downdoad Valentin Guldner, I could sense the raw emotion that drove Juniper Mantle to create such complex sounds. There's something about the way he layers his tracks, taking fragments of noise and turning them into something hauntingly beautiful. It's like he's pushing the boundaries of what's possible with music, forcing me to reevaluate my own relationship with sound.
